Press Release!

This week in the follow up to Calgary marathon I had the fun of my first ever interview and photo shoot, courtesy of Calgary Herald. It was definitely a fun experience and intersting to see how an interview turns into an article! Check it out:

  1. Ellie you're amazing. And I'm sure I'll get 'chicked' by you at the Scorched Sole. Good luck in Gibralter!

  3. That was a great article Ellie! You are getting the recognition you deserve.

See you in Kelowna (hopefully I can 'chick' a few guys myself when I am there).

  6. Hi Ellie,
Hello from a fellow ultra runner from the UK! Just been reading your blog by sheer chance and you are doing absolutely amazing! I'm on the national ultra running squad, and have competed for Team GB in the World 100km Champs for the past couple of years. I'm currently coached by Norman Wilson who is the contact for the GB Ultra Team, but unfortunately I won't make it to Gibraltar this year due to just coming back from injury. If you haven't heard back from UKA about GB selection, I'll certainly give you a mention when I speak to Norman later in the week if it helps in anyway. My partner and I are hoping to move to Calgary in the next 12 months and I'm hoping to continue the ultra running over there. I too would love to run for Canada once we move, but I guess will be in the same position as yourself as a "landed immigrant". Good luck with all your forthcoming races and long may your success continue. Adela Salt, Stoke-on-Trent, England

  7. Hi Adela
Thanks for your message. I have heard from Norman Wilson just a few days ago and hope to find out in the next week or so if I have made the UK team for Gibraltar - fingers crossed! Hope you are getting back on track after your injury and good luck with the move
    Ellie
